Two Cards & a Tag

Hello again ~ I'm back to post a few cards and a tag. I have to begin with an apology, as we have had overcast skies for the past several days, and I had to take my photos with a Light Box...no Bueno :)

My first card is for this week's Sketch Challenge at the MFT Blog:

I used Copic markers to color the fun little Elf and Christmas tree and mounted everything onto the fabulous embossed panel, sent to me by my sweet friend, Michele! Thanks again, Michele...the pattern and texture works so well with the elements on this card :)

My next card is for the current Tag You're It Challenge

I am swooning over Loll's tag...well actually, I feel that way about everything she creates! Here is my take on her tag:

I love her tag so much, that I actually CASE'D everything...the Northern Lights Sky with splattering, her color palette, and all the sparkle she added to her tag. I also spritzed a touch of  Perfect Pearls in water to add a shimmery effect to the sky. Very sparkly IRL :) Here's a close-up:

My last card is for the CAS on Sunday Challenge for the theme 'Christmas':

How sweet is this little Shephard Boy...LOVE!!! I'm a sucker for anything with a Nativity theme, so I grabbed my Copic markers and got busy. I stamped the sentiment in Versafine Onyx Black and added clear EP for shine. No glitter, no gems, no enamel dots...Just a CAS card ~

So, that's it for me...thanks for hanging in there! If the sun peeks through in the next few days, I'll be back to replace these with better pics :)
Thanks so much for stopping by.

Addicted to CAS ~ It's Our 4th Birthday Celebration!

Hello there blog friends! We have a wonderful celebration going on over at the Addicted to CAS Challenge Blog ~ It's our 4th birthday, and to celebrate, we have six Sponsors for this challenge, so you might want to check it out :) They include ~ Happy Little Stampers, A Day For Daisies, Sami Stamps, Eureka Stamps, Create a Smile Stamps and STAMPlorations
The incredibly talented Jaydee is our Hostess, and she has chosen the code word 'Congratulations'! Emily Shroom is our Guest Designer for this challenge, and I just LOVE her fun take on the Code Word!

Also, we are having a Design Team call...If you are interested in working with a talented and lovely group of girls and an amazing 'Boss', then this is the DT for you!

Here is my card:

I started with this fun patterned paper from PTI and used the MFT stitched scalloped edge die to create the angles. I used Shadow Inks for the die cut sentiment and stacked 2 more in white to add dimension...a few silver metallic sequins, and that was it :)
That's it for me today...I hope your weekend is off to a great start! Thanks so much for stopping by ~
